When John, a government contract shooter saw three of our SE builds drive into his local town he suddenly realized that that, was the tray and canopy set up he’s been dreaming of. After a quick chat with the owners and hearing his feedback he hunted us down.

With no discredit to the existing manufacturer of his tray and canopy, John just wasn’t happy with it. It was too heavy, and in his words, not the quality or finish he had always wanted. The proportions were all out of whack not giving the style and usability of space he was after.

After a couple of discussions by phone, we knew exactly what he wanted and got cracking on manufacturing a replacement tray and canopy to suit his needs as a contract shooter, game hunter and fisherman.

Not meeting John in person or him having the time or opportunity to visit our facility, just by chance I happened to be driving through his town on the way south for a camping trip. I gave him a call and we ended up meeting. I showed him around the SEBOSS build and what our company can offer. It was good to meet him and put a face to the name and it allowed me to listen to his needs to tailor his build for him personally.

In the later weeks after our meeting, John put together an additional wish list of some other accessories he wanted added, including things like a complete roof platform system with LED lighting & in-cab controls, also have his under-tray compressor to be switched from inside and be able to operate and adjust his air bag suspension. A few small things like A-pillar mounted wireless phone holder/charger, and connecting his new canopy rear-view camera to his existing head unit really helped John out by not having to go anywhere else for that type of work.

By the time his new tray and canopy were finished and ready for fitment, John had sold his previous tray and canopy and had the car delivered to us for the treatment. See below for a couple of photos and a video below of our work.
